About the Book
In India, sexual assaults against girls and women are happening every day. It has become a regular feature to see these reports in our newspapers and on television. These acts are a disgrace to humanity. Sexual abuse is a social problem that affects children and young people. This can lead to psychological and behavioral problems in many children that can persist until they reach adulthood.
We must understand the gravity of the situation. It is the paramount duty of each and every one of us to educate our children, both boys and girls, about proper conduct and the social evils related to this issue.
With this in mind, I have extensively covered sexual assault, the POCSO and Nirbhaya laws for protecting women, methods for young girls to protect themselves, and the role and responsibilities of parents in this book titled "Women's Safety, Nation's Responsibility".
